Past President

Danny LeBlanc began his career in Medical Device Reprocessing at the Old Halifax Infirmary in 1997. From there he took on the role as Technical Supervisor in MDR at the New Halifax Infirmary until 2007. From the New Halifax Infirmary, he moved across the harbor to the Dartmouth General Hospital where he held the position of Technical Supervisor in MDR for Dartmouth General and Hants Community Hospitals.

In 2018 he applied and accepted the position as Manager of Medical Device Reprocessing for the Western Zone area of Nova Scotia Health where he oversees MDR activities for four sites.

He has been actively involved with the Medical Device Reprocessing Assoc. of Nova Scotia for the past 25 years where he has held the position of President for two terms and now currently Past President.

He is currently is a member of the Canadian Association of Medical Device Reprocessing since it’s inception and for the past four years holds the position of Provincial Advisor for Nova Scotia.

–In his down time, he can be found at the cottage enjoying time with family and friends.
